The J2EE Deployment Toolkit Team is planning to do a major update to the project: Within Q2/2004 there will be not only the final release of the J2EE Installation Wizard, but also beta releases of the the J2EE Deployment Information Panel and the J2EE UnInstallation Wizard.

The J2EE Deployment Toolkit Team is proud to announce the release of Alpha-4 of their J2EE Installation Wizard.
Though this release is only tested with JOnAS 3.2.2+ but not with other leading J2EE servers yet, this installation wizard shows the power of the upcoming releases planned for the next months, also contains 95% of the planned core features.
This installation wizard enables the user to install any J2EE 1.4 (or at least JSR 88) compliant application or module into any J2EE 1.4 (or at least JSR 88) compliant application server, without using any vendor specific deployment descriptor or tool, and is intended to be bundled with J2EE applications from third party ISVs, or to be used by administrators.
