Does e4rat support boot form multiple partitions? (/, /home, and boot are separate partitions on hard drive) Will it work if one of them (the boot partition) is formatted at ext2? Thanks.

Up to now e4rat-preload does not support preloading files from multiple partitions during the boot process. But it is on my todo list for 0.2.2.
Other partitions than root are mounted at a later time. So the files are simply not accessible and cannot be preloaded.
But you can split the file list and run e4rat-preload multiple times additionally as an init script.

Sorry. It is not that easy to implement. It is still standing on my todo-list. It is not part of e4rat-0.2.2.
