mk2fs: Please add support for GNU --long options

From time to time onecomes across memos and intructions that tell what people did to create file systems. An example:
mkfs.ext4 -c -b 4096 -E stride=64,stripe_width=128 -j -i 1048576 -L ...
Uhm? The command is typically used once in the lifetime for the partition creation and it's impossible to understand the above line without consulting manual page.
If mk2fs(1) could support long options, it would be clearer to document the above with:
mkfs.ext4 --check --block-size 4096 -extended-option stride=64,stripe_width=128 --journal --inode 1048576 --label ...
