e-Pack update

There were several coding errors and bugs in the most recent e-Pack. A new version will be released in the next day or so that eliminates all known bugs and adds additional functionality.

e107 Lite (Possible Project)

I'm contemplating a lite version of e107. This possible project, possible because I haven't really decided yet whether i'll actually undertake it or not. Would strip out some functionality from a standard version of e107 to turn it into a forum system on par with phpbb and other forum systems.

REALLY IMPORTANT NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This project is my own idea and is not something planned by the dev team or jalist so PLEASE don't bother them about it. If you have interest in this please contact me.

Mod Packs

Continuing a project I began a couple years ago, I will eventually be releasing mods grouped together into a pack or packs.

Releasing mods this way insures they work together without problems and reduces the time required to upload multiple mods to an e107 site.

In time the new mod process will replace this, but until that time this remains the most practical solution

e107mods up and running

Our goal is to develop better ways to modify the e107 core, plugin and theme files with an eye towards ease of installation/removal, better documentation, and zero interference by the mods on an e107 site when it is updated to a newer version of the e107 script. As a result modifications (hacks) to the e107 files will become easier to implement and ultimately better.

This site combined with the main site http://www.e107hacks.org and the documentation site http://www.digitaerie.com will help bring the art of modifying e107 code into the 21st century
