I wasn't sure if it would work with your hardware, I'm sorry to see that
it did not.

I do know that the system flash is what contains our eeprom so even
though the device is not visible on the bus it is likely you can restore
the flash information using another utility, like a BIOS
upgrade/downgrade.

The only suggestions I have left are for you to try a bios
downgrade/upgrade.  I do know that internally we have been able to
rescue machines from this state, but external tools may not be
available.
