#697 Perlcritic not reporting errors. Silent fail.

We have our own perlcritic script which I'd like to run from Eclipse, because it does all kinds of conditional critiquing. For some reason it isn't working, but this isn't the key problem. The main issue is that it just fails silently. You get the popup flash on the screen with the progress bar (I think it's a progress bar, it flashes too quickly to see), but no error messages. You just select perl critic to run (or do Ctrl-shift-c) and nothing happens.

I would expect to see the error output, return code, or even just a java stack trace.
