#487 Syntax Highlighting Breaks after Regex Alternation in grep

In 0.6.21, syntax highlighting breaks in the following example:

use strict;
grep /A|B/, 'A', 'B', 'C';
print "syntax highlighting is broken!\n";

If you remove the alternation '|' from the regex it is fine.
