#418 Czech UTF-8 characters not displayed in editor

Editor (234)

Special Czech UTF-8 characters are not displayed in perl sources even if the original perl source file is UTF-8 encoded and the default encoding of Eclipse editors are set to UTF-8.

Tested with Eclipse 3.1 and 3.2 with Epic 0.5 and 0.6

Characters in file are:

## CZE characters
# C characters
$value =~ s/Č/C/g;
$value =~ s/č/c/g;
# E characters
$value =~ s/Ä”/E/g;
$value =~ s/Ä•/e/g;
# R characters
$value =~ s/Ř/R/g;
$value =~ s/Å™/r/g;
# S characters
$value =~ s/Å /S/g;
$value =~ s/Å¡/s/g;
# U characters
$value =~ s/Å®/U/g;
$value =~ s/ů/u/g;
# Z characters
$value =~ s/Ž/Z/g;
$value =~ s/ž/z/g;

    Did you use an editor font which contains these characters?

    Tried different available fonts but no success. Other editors on this system do display the mentioned characters (e.g. VisualSlick editor).

    The characters are displayed correctly in Eclipse 3.2/EPIC 0.6.11/Linux using Courier New font after setting encoding to UTF-8 as you described.

    There is another problem, though: compilation errors are (incorrectly) reported on lines containing these characters...
