Eg, if I have a module: AppName::View which has a
pseudo-constructor new() which instantiates
AppName::View::CGI or AppName::View::Apache depending
on whether the request came to a CGI or mod_perl
instance, then I have to inherit in the subclass via:

our @ISA = qw(AppName::View);

As if I use:

use base qw(AppName::View);

then EPIC complains about compilation failure.

    We had a related (?) discussion not so long ago in the
    forum, and I was unable to reproduce the problem back then.
    It would be appreciated if someone could submit a code
    sample which reliably demonstrates this bug.
