No

easily repeatable :-

$test->{quote} = 'xyz'
#all code below here broken coloured incorrectly
(I guess the word quote is special in some way? html
entities?)

    $test->{q} has the same effect. This is essentially a
    duplicate of #1360594, with "q" being misinterpreted as the
    quote operator here.

    Tried it in my version (Eclipse 3.1.1 & EPIC 0.3.12).

    CanNOT reproduce it.

    You can fix this by editing epic's edit-modes file in:
    eclipse/plugins/org.epic.ext.cbg.editor_0.3.3/modes/perl.xml

    Look for the <GROUP>q</GROUP> tag and change its
    DELIMITER_TAG_CHARS property to ":NO_LETTER_OR_DIGITS:"

    Worked fine for me.

    Fixed in CVS.

    Note that org.epic.ext.cbg.editor is not used any more in
    the current CVS version.

    This is STILL a bug.

    Versions:
    Eclipse 3.1.1
    EPIC 0.3.12

    The following code breaks syntax highlighting although it is
    valid perl code:

    use strict;

    package NewTemplate;

    sub quote {
    }

    sub mySub {
    quote("something");
    print "blahfasel";
    }

    mySub();

    1;
