OK, I managed to get one thing done - the website is up. Not that it's = all fancy and complete, just a first start, but I hope it will make our = project look a little more appealing for others to join in. The adress = is: http://dynapyide.sourceforge.net/ I would require everybody to reply: "Hey, I saw the website and I like = it!" once you did - or reply: "Hey I saw it and it sucked big time!" if = you saw it but didn't like it. Any other comments would be nice too... Another thing I would require: If you didn't recieve this email twice or = know you're not recieving it through the developer emaillist - sign up = right away. I'm not going to keep including everybodies emailaddress = when there are a very good tool for reaching everybody, so head over to = http://lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/dynapyide-developer (And if you're already signed up and want me to stop nagging you about = it, send a little post through the emaillist, so I know you're on. Not = you David.) BTW I'm pretty proud I finally got one tool I need for this project = installed which I can work my way through in a Windows GUI. It's a bit = nagging though that I needed to go a trial application which will work = for 30 days only. Well, I'll get round to finding an free tool I can use = later I hope, otherwise I must consider buying F-Secure SSH Suite - I'd = hate that. I wanted to let you know that Jitu have now joined our project. I asked = him to outline what he expect of the project and what he expect himself = to contribute. His answer is below. Welecome Jitu! I looked upp a few code snippets that might come in handy. I haven't = checked out the code, so I leave it up each to decide... Find .class files in a directory: ********************** http://sourceforge.net/snippet/detail.php?type=3Dsnippet&id=3D100716 Might make it easier to make a plugin structure... ini-files: ****** http://sourceforge.net/snippet/detail.php?type=3Dsnippet&id=3D100546 Ini files can be useful for user options since they're so handy to = edit-by-hand in case the GUI controlls don't act as intended or you = rather do it yourself. FileTool: ******* http://sourceforge.net/snippet/detail.php?type=3Dsnippet&id=3D100642 Don't know, but it might be helpful to have this for = filehandler...?recursive scanning filesin directories : **************************** http://sourceforge.net/snippet/detail.php?type=3Dsnippet&id=3D100325 when's working with sites this might come handy... And for the look & feel how about the freeware Skin LF? http://www.l2fprod.com/ http://www.javootoo.com/ Henrik V [ hv...@ya... ] _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
