Hi, > if the stuff I posted is crap then at least tell me! You'll always be the guy who posted the text_selecting_on_drag fix, for me, so keep it up, even if it feels a little up-hill sometimes. And your posts even included online examples. There are only about 4 people who can actually alter the code, and only 1 or 2 who actually monitor this list, so if a post passes them by it might get lost. Best thing seems to be to post fixes to http://sourceforge.net/patch/?group_id=5757 as a patch, (this is automatically posted to this list) even if they are not implemented immediately, at least they don't get lost. The problem seems to be that the moderators don't have access to NS6 and/or Mac, and can't verify if changes work, and don't break anything else. I don't think this is a sustainable working system, as development is being slowed to a crawl, can't a trusted individual be appointed to check patches on the browser/operating_system which are giving problems?? Lets hope people don't get to disheartened and stop contributing all together. Either it should be clearly stated that IE/Mac and NS6 are NOT supported until they are updated (like Opera), or we should decide a framework on how to continue, it had been stated that NS6 patches where being held back until after the release, so we would expect these aspects to be tackled now, especially as most solutions already seem to be available on this list. I can imagine that the arguments on the list last week might have tempered peoples enthusiasm, but lets try to get things a little organized so the DynAPI can evolve to the next stage. </grumble> Cheers, Richard Bennett ma...@ri... www.richardinfo.com (Everything running on, and ported to the 19/12/2000 snapshot of DynAPI2) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Bürge" <mb...@st...> To: <dyn...@li...> Sent: Monday, February 05, 2001 11:39 PM Subject: Re: Re[2]: [Dynapi-Dev] mulfiple events in ns5 > changing the name of the browser is fine, but my original post was about > something else and i didn't see any reactions. > now i'd like to help to improve the DynAPI, which is a way cool project, but > i kinda get the feeling nobody cares. > if the stuff i posted is crap then at least tell me! > > -- > Michael Buerge > > > > I've updated cvs with ns6.
