Yup .. thats right. On a PC. On a mac the default memory setting for both ie and ns is pretty low. And when that runs out, your out of memory. Offcourse you can set that to a higher value yourself pretty easily.. but the defaut user probably doesn't. I had that problem when constructing a menu in dynAPI1. Running out of memory the whole time... Had to redo it and drastically decrease the amount of Layers from around 100-200 to around 30. But I believe that DynAPI2 is a lot better at memory usage. There's still some room for improvement, though :) BTW, anyone has an idea about how to flush memory on PC for IE..? It seems that it allocates memory for each new page load. / Bart > I got to 7000 layers then hit the back button.
