Brandon - Thanks for the test, but the problem does still occur (oddly, I'm using IE5 on Win2K Pro, too). I have seen this happen on other machines, too. I have also seen runs of 20 refreshes without problems, but the problem still persists; I just tried it again. I've noticed that when it does happen, the "broken image" icon shows up instantly. It doesn't seem to be even trying to download the image at all. The current version of this application is using the same IMG source (in non-dynamic ASP pages) to deliver over 150,000 maps a day (without problems) so it really does seem that the problem stems from the DynAPI implementation.
