Yes it works on Windows NS4. I tested it on Linux Redhat
7.2 NS4. Just click on the Blackboard example the browser
crashes and the window disappears.

navigator.userAgent:
Mozilla/4.78 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.4.18 i686) 

Redhat NS4 comes as a binary distribution. Maybe the
blackboard was tested against a different version as I think
you have Redhat version 8.?
