I started to play with it, but i have to agree I think it has been abandoned, pity, it showed so much promise... what exactly are you wanting to do? There are many dynamic html scripts out there that can acheive many of the things that the dynapi does. Also the code can be smaller and load faster becuase the dynapi is sometimes weighted down with code that you don't need...
