Just to add to what Raymond has said: It really depends on the nature and complexity of your application. Mainly, if your application is not already cross-browser, the DynAPI most likly won't help you much. But I do not wish to discurage you from trying. Do give it a show with DynAPI 3x, if that fails, try using the loadpanel widget in DynAPI 2.6 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Raymond Irving" <xw...@ya...> To: <dyn...@li...> Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2003 5:09 PM Subject: Re: [Dynapi-Help] Merging dynapi application w/ traditional jsp/javascript app > > --- Wayne A Christian <wa...@ge...> wrote: > > We're trying to merge two web applications, one > > developed using dynapi > > and another which uses the traditional > > html/jsp/javascript combination. > > We're thinking that we should be able to create a > > DynaLayer (a div) and > > load/include/wrapper the traditional web application > > within that > > div/DynaLayer. > > > > Does this seem feasible?? > > Well you could do that using the LoadPanel widget. > > > We really don't have the > > time to totally > > rewrite the traditional web application in DynApi > > (especially when we > > may need the time to migrate between DynApi and > > DynApi2). > > DynAPI3 is in the making.
