I found the function in the CVS version at SF.

You need to get the files from CVS.

This is pretty standard for SourceForge projects. If in windows, you
can use a command line version of cvs or you might like to use something
like TortoiseCVS or WinCVS.

I prefer TortoiseCVS as it's intuitive. After installation, just create
a a folder like CVSROOT, right-click, go to "CVS Checkout", enter the
data as specified above, and in a few seconds you'll have a copy.
