Since Opera version 6 came out, many sites using dynapi are
inaccessible to users of Opera. They generate and endless series of
alert boxes with the text "Error in MouseEvents". Inexperienced
users may find no other way out of this loop than using task manager to
kill Opera.
I visited the Matrix page, and got similar results
on around half of the test pages.
I realize that DynAPI is
currently only aiming at supporting IE and Netscape/Mozilla, but
think that a solution to this issue would benefit both Opera and
DynAPI.
One easy solution might be to treat Opera the same way as
Netscape 4.78 - since identifying Opera as this browser causes the
problem to go away.
