Dynamic Power Management adds Intel PXA27x

Dynamic Power Management enables rapid modifications to system power parameters, such as CPU and bus frequency and core voltage scaling, plus mechanisms to control power policy for power-conscious systems based on Linux. We're pleased to add support for the Intel XScale PXA27x "Bulverde" platform on which a number of popular cell phones and PDAs are based. See http://sourceforge.net/projects/dynamicpower

Dynamic Power Management updated

Dynamic Power Management provides mechanisms to aggressively control power policy for Linux-based consumer electronics devices. We've begun integrating management of power operating points with device requirements, for platforms where device usage restricts the valid operating points. We've also added support for the TI OMAP1610 platform for 2.5G and 3G wireless devices. See http://sourceforge.net/projects/dynamicpower

Dynamic Power Management adds TI OMAP support

Dynamic Power Management enables rapid modifications to system power parameters, such as CPU and bus frequency and core voltage scaling, plus mechanisms to control power policy for power-conscious systems based on Linux. We're pleased to add support for the popular TI OMAP platform for 2.5G and 3G wireless devices, starting with the OMAP1510/5910 Innovator reference boards. Dynamic Power Management updated

Dynamic Power Management enables rapid modifications to system power parameters, such as CPU and bus frequency and core voltage scaling, plus mechanisms to control power policy for power-conscious systems based on Linux. This release matches Linux 2.6.4, with many cleanups and a bug fix or two. Expect support for additional platforms to be added in the near future.

Dynamic power management for Intel Centrino released

A release of software being used by major consumer electronics vendors to conserve battery life on Linux-based devices such as cell phones is now available for Linux 2.6 and Intel Centrino notebooks. Dynamic Power Management rapidly scales power parameters such as CPU frequency as the operating system transitions between idling and running tasks, and as the system switches between tasks with differing power requirements.
