#1 Sticky feature not working

The sticky feature, i.e. the magnifier follows the
mouse pointer instead of sitting on a stationary
location, does not work. Scenario:
1) Set Settings -> Sticky to "Yes".
2) Click "Follow" button.
3) Application terminates with exit status 1.
