    At the request of MrPepka from this thread
    https://sourceforge.net/p/dxwnd/discussion/general/thread/900c826e74/?page=3
    I tested the game Pacman from company Albion. The full version of this game was published in the magazine CyberMycha 01/2001. Because here is more demos games that are worth mentioning in connection with the use of DxWnd, I will publish their results as well (a total of 5 games, all in Win7). I tried all the games with the same beta version of DxWnd (dxwnd.Easter_update.rar from here https://sourceforge.net/p/dxwnd/discussion/general/thread/900c826e74/213c/attachment/dxwnd.Easter_update.rar)
    Gradually, I will present other games in individual posts.

    Pacman
    This QT game works pretty well with DxWnd. Don't rely on pacman color selection according to the yellow box around him, it's unreliable. Sometimes the frame stays on different color or does not appear at all.
    It is best to simply write the player's name and click on the desired pacman color. Then you will definitely have the color you want.
    When using scaling, the game has small artifacts that are likely to be caused by rounding.
    If your playing area is too dirty, quickly press alt + tab and back, and the playing area will be down clean for a while.
    You can also play the game from a disc, just copy the folder from the CD.
    If you want to be saved the results,
    you must rename the file "_" to pacman.pkt.

    Update:
    Added profile for Win10.

      On your config, the game no longer starts at all, crashing on startup. This is prevented by the "Hot patch" option, but the game window is still broken and you can't see anything in it. The problem is solved by turning off the "Initial resolution" option, but there are still problems with the cursor in the main menu, and when you miraculously get to the board, you can't start the game

        Unfortunately, I can't try it in Win10 right now, I can do it in a few days.

    Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX Demo
    You can also play the game from a disc, just copy the folder from the CD.
    This 3D game also works quite well with DxWnd.
    The only weird thing is that the set screen size in the game sets the same window size in DxWnd.
    The set window size in DxWnd is ignored. It might be worth exploring why this is so.

    Gift Demo
    This D3D game works with DxWnd with certain setting.
    The first time start, you set resolution and sound. If you want to change this in the future, delete the TheGift.cfg file. Sometimes it fails early hook (Unsupported operating system), in which case try again. This can also be done via Detect.exe, but from an unknown reason it does not work with DxWnd and messages error "Can´t detect a correct 3D device". There is an error in the log
    DirectDrawEnumerateExA: ERROR res=0x80070057(DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS).
    The game doesn't like alt + tab very much, its ghost window often stayed on the screen.

    Tomb Rider Chronicles Demo
    This game works with DxWnd, but has some peculiarities when set to 16bit and 32bit.
    With the game setting of 32bit we do not see the screens Tomb-Raider-Chronicles-16bit1.png and Tomb-Raider-Chronicles-16bit3.png at all. Either the screen is black or only is visible
    Tomb-Raider-Chronicles-32bit1.png. It is possible that this behavior is caused by the game itself, because I can't see this also without DxWnd.
    Also the Tomb-Raider-Chronicles-32bit2.png transparency screen is quite special. It doesn't do that with 16bit game settings. The game saves the settings in the registry
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Core Design\Tomb Raider Chronicles (Demo)\System]
    If you want a new setup, run the "Tomb Rider Setup" profile or delete this branch in the registry.
    The game has its own ability to run in a window.
    Update:
    The music doesn't play, but according to the protocol, I think that in a demo version is not at all.

    Ford Racing Demo
    I kept this game at to end, I think it deserves attention.
    The game does not work with or without DxWnd for one simple reason (it seems). Game unable to determine resolution. I tried different DxWnd settings, but I didn't succeed. The game didn't work with either dgVoodoo or WineD3D for me. I don't see anything interesting in the protocol, only if I give a Test with no resolution found, is here
    SetPixFmt: BPP=0 Use565=1 NoAlpha=1
    CreateSurface ERROR: Unsupported resolution ColorBPP=0
    SetPixFmt: PixelFormat flags=0() BPP=0
    SetBltTransformations: colors=0->32 renderer=3("primary surface") filter=0(none) scaling=(0,0) supported=NO
    SetDisplayMode: mode=EMULATE PixelFormat flags=0() BPP=0 ret=OK

    Regarding Ford Racing, I checked the full version of this game and it runs under DxWnd although the mouse does not work in it. As a resolution I gave 640x480 with 32-bit color palette and 32-bit Z-Buffer, and in Advanced I turned on all the options. Unfortunately, the mouse cursor does not work properly, practically freezing in the menu
    I checked this demo from CyberMycha now and the game doesn't actually detect the graphics card or resolution. Apparently, the creators did some foolishness and wrote the graphics card detection code wrong (or maybe CyberMycha editors incorrectly copied the demo on the disc?)

    The demo version from CyberMycha runs via Dgvoodoo2, so it can also be run via DxWnd, but so what if the mouse works just as badly?

      Not for me. Can you send me a picture with dgVoodoo settings?

      I didn't have such a new version, but unfortunately no change for me with your configuration, the list of resolutions is empty.

    @MrPepka
    This Pacman configuration works well for me in Win10, except for the artifacts created by rounding, which I have already mentioned.
