My harddrive crashed and I while recovering, I upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 to find out that em8300 driver does not compile anymore. I may be the latest user of DXR3 on the planet, but I still find it useful. That is why I decided to try to update the code myself:

I've downloaded the latest version I could find (em8300-0.18.0) and tried to make it compile on Ubuntu 12.04. I guess I got it working and I will attach my patch.

This is the environment I was compiling on:
$ uname -a
Linux logout 3.2.0-24-generic #39-Ubuntu SMP Mon May 21 16:51:22 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
