Hi Bob. POINT, MULTILESTRING and MULTIPOLYGON are geometry data types of PostGIS. The geometry data types used in AutoCAD (POINT, TEXT, BLOCK, POLILINE, CIRCLE, etc.) are all converted in these three types. Other AutoCAD charateristics are converted in PostgreSQL fields of geometric tables (as Handle, layer, etc.).
