I installed DWSIM 8.4.3 and 8.4.4 on Xubuntu 20.04.6 LTS, via deb package, program works without problem, but when I install it on later Xubuntu distributions like 22.04 or 23.04, some crashes happens.
For example, in an absorption column, whenever I try to Define the Number of Stages, the program crashes without any error message that lets me know what is happening.
I am attaching the simulation I have made with XUbuntu 20.04.6 LTS.
Thank you very much for your help.

Yes, it doesn't work either, at least I haven´t gotten it.
I have Wine 8.0. I am attaching error messages.
    Thank you for your help.

the wine environment for DWSIM is self-contained. the correct command to start is in the readme file.

Yes, I have read the readme file and followed all the steps.
I have downloaded the zip and extracted it in a folder, in a terminal window I have executed the command ./dwsim-wine.
As I said in my previous message the version of Wine is up to date and it is 8.0, so that is not the problem.
    Thank you.

I guess that you have to use an older Linux distro, then. I don't have the resources to test DWSIM on all distros. You can always create a virtual machine to run it, if nothing else works.

Thank you very much for your help and above all thank you very much for DWSIM, I am using the program with my students and I find it very useful.
Thank you and greetings from Spain.
