I tried to do an optimization using the cross-platform new UI of DWSIM on Ubuntu, and strangely, the optimization page does not show up well. Does anyone else face the same issue? Especially, I couldn't find the button to start (click) the Optimizer.
I am using Ubuntu 16 and am using DWSIM 5.8.11 (latest as of today). I am also attaching a file for your reference.
I tried on the OS (using Unity Tweak Tools), and also on the Global Settings in DWSIM; but it did not help.
I am attaching an image to show what it looks like.
I know that this is a bug and should not need any additional setup by the user, I'm just trying to find a workaround until the next version gets released with the fixes.

Could you try decreasing the font size on your system settings?
I tried on the OS (using Unity Tweak Tools), and also on the Global Settings in DWSIM; but it did not help.

Thanks,

Try resizing the form by dragging its lower right corner. it worked here.
May I know which Ubuntu flavour are you using?
On my Ubuntu 16, even trying to drag the right corner does not get me anywhere. I can attach an gif animation tomorrow for confirmation tomorrow.
Mine is Ubuntu 16.04 and I have set a menu and title bar scaling equal to 0.875.
