I have been a DWSim Wine user for months now, having used it in various Linux platforms like Manjaro, Ubuntu 20.04, Zorin OS etc. My observation is that, whenever I try to run DWSim on a specific Wine version like Development ver. 7.4.x or Stable 6.0 rc or 5.4, it works flawlessly. But it simply crashes on any other version of Wine. This is true with almost all versions of DWSim starting feom 7.4.x onwards upto the latest version and also about all three Linux distros I mentioned above.
My problem is that my latest OS Ubuntu 22.04 does not support any of the Wine version mentioned above, therefore I cannot use it on my main system. Of course, I use a workaround by installing it on Arch based system on another computer that allows me to install specific Wine Version with which DWSim is compatible.
I am putting this request because I feel there may be many other users experiencing the same problem and if investigated, a solution may be found.
I do not have a crash report right now but can post it if required, but for that I have to install DWSim on my main Ubuntu system.
Thanks in advance for any support provided.

You could also create a virtual machine with a working combination and use it for DWSIM only.
Thank you Daniel for that suggestion. I didn't think of that solution earlier. Should work out.
