My final year project involves the simulation of a pipe network water distribution system using DWSIM software but I have run into a limitation with the pipe network unit operation, which only allows me to simulate up to 10 objects and my project involves simulating a much larger section.
I would like to courage DWSIM Users to see my free software dedicated for engineering calculations of piping hydraulics with T&P changes along piping.
The idea of implementing MS Excel associated Piping Hydraulics (PH ) software for calculation T&P into an existing DWSIM simulation with defined Flowsheet is valuable, when Flowsheet stream/streams are sensitive of T&P change according to the stream build-in the real piping/pipeline. For details see point 10 of my guideline "PH_software_User_Guide_programming_issues_2024_02_20". My software allows so many piping elements as Excel lines (1.2 mln.) Thinking objects in my case it combines 200 nodes and branches and about unlimited number of local resistance elements and up to 40 piping types in one simulation.
