Hi everyone, we are currently having troubles in the connection of our solar powerplant model in heat exchanger and recycle block iterations limit, any ideas on how to properly connect or model the heat exchanger for the attached model. we are currently applying the sample model into the DWSIM
Thanks in advance, any guides or tips is greatly appreciated
!. Can you post your current DWSIM flowsheet?
2. You may need a 2nd recycle for the Solar collector loop.
3. With reasonable temperatures, have you tried to run the model as an open loop? This would give you estimates for rapid closure of the recycles.

Hi Mr Frank, here is our current draft of flowsheet, we are currently a students that are exploring the DWSIM and dont have a deep understanding or correct way of utilizing the software, can you edit and show the difference of an open loop?, and is there a correct way on where to put the recycle block?
Hello!
See attached model. Now it works, I added another recycle and made some other adjustments. With 2 simulatneous recycle blocks seems unstable, so my recommendation is to let them non-active and activate one at a time.
