Hi, the composition of the output stream does not exactly add up to 1. Since the minimum reflux is different from the one I get with chemsep, I thought there was an error.
Maybe it's my mistake and it's just different results.
Thanks Again!

[Overall] Benzene Mole Frac 0.98999799 [Overall] Toluene Mole Frac 0.01
Total: 0.99999799 (I would consider this as equal to 1 for all engineering purposes)
Bottoms:
[Overall] Benzene Mole Frac 0.01 [Overall] Toluene Mole Frac 0.99000133
Total: 1.00000133 (I would also consider this as being equal to 1)
If you want more precision, change the flash algorithm convergence parameters.

Hello, I have a question about the shortcut distillation
In this case the composition of the output stream do not sum 1
What is the problem?
File, version 5 update 8

I didn't see anything abnormal here, can you point out exactly where you think there's an error?

The shortcut column has two outlet streams.
Distillate:

Yes of course, I understand. So, everything is ok. Thanks!
