I have not used DWSIM for some months .. I have installed V3.0 buid 5162 and I am not able to use the models developped with V2.1. I try with several of them and they all give DWSIM to crash immediatly.
Any suggestion ?
Of course I can rebuild my models but ....

Unfortunately some older simulations won't be compatible with 3.0, because 3.0 is built for .NET 4.0 and 2.1 was built for .NET 2.0. There are huge internal differences in the base libraries, and because of the way "dwsim" files were saved, there's nothing I could do to fix that. I tried to track the error when loading these simulations on 3.0 but it is very deep in Microsoft libraries, and I couldn't do much to fix them because I don't know what happens, the error message says nothing to me...
You can always keep both installations in your computer or rebuild your old simulations on 3.0, saving them using the new dwxml format which is cross-platform compatible and future-proof.
