Hi Jim,
go to dialog "pure component properties". Here you will find a checkbox "Enable constant property editing". This will allow you to do some modifications, but only of constant properties. Modified parameters are stored only inside actual simulation and not into database.
If you want to modify other paramters like vapour pressure you need to create a new user component where you edit all desired parameters or do regressions for temperature dependent properties.

i made some improvements on the procedure for editing pure component properties which will be found in the next release.
Now you clearly can see whether a component was modiefied or you are working with original parameters from database. You also can reset parameters to default values from database now.
Additionally i integrated a little database manager tool which allows to manage components in user databases.
