Hi, I have a gas (associated gas) stream that I compress and cool after compression (classic I'd say).
When cooling at 63°C I have what I would call a normal behaviour (vapour pahse mole fraction is 0.978) but if I try to go lower by 1°C (62°C) everything gets condensed ! PP is Peng Robinson.
I upgraded to version 6.5.3 (64 bits) but it is still the same.
Any idea ?
Thanks, Vincent
Vincent, I suggest to change thermo package to SRK.
For stream 16 I suggest to change flash spec to pres and enthalpy and for cool 2 to set calc type to outlet molar vapor fraction (eg 0.999)
Here it works and starts to have liquid at 61 °C.
Hope it helps.
Luca

Changing to SRK EOS causes a phase equilibria calculation error for COMP-03 (I changed my windows regional settings to US because I had troubles in the past with French config so it should not come from that).
Changing the flash spec and the calc type seems to be ok with PR.
