Is there a way to set the set-point of an adjuster block to match another value on the flowsheet.
i.e. I have an adjuster block that sets the value of one stream to match another value elsewhere on the flowsheet. I now manually set the value for the calculation. But if I change something else on the sheet I have to go back and manually reset the set-point.
I have tried using a spreadsheet to output the value back to the set-point, but it seems a bit hit and miss as to whether it is used. Also I find that sometimes the units that are transferred are changed. For example, when transferring a temperature in C, sometimes it goes over as C but othertimes it is changes to K e.g. I have a set-point of 5C on the spreadsheet but in the controller it goes to -268C.
Thanks
Doug

Thanks
Doug

Sorry Doug, my bad. The referenced variable option is not available in the current version, but the functionality has always been there. I'll re-add it on the next update.

Hi Doug, did you try "referenced variable"?

Thanks Daniel, much appreciated.
