Hm, right i had my path messed up, its set to wc3 1.26a now (https://image.ibb.co/jy03q0/version.png). The attached replay opens normally.

However, this one (6157385.w3g) doesn't load and leads to the same error: https://image.ibb.co/cunGA0/6157385-w3g-crash.png (the map is the same as the above one, meaning 6.88x3)

Perhaps this is the wrong place but i also noticed some strange behaviour while testing around:

If you open "6.88w9.4.w3g" first and then directly load "6154114.w3g" (of 6.88x3) it will result in another exception: https://image.ibb.co/hKCGA0/6154114-after-6-88w9-4-crash.png

They seem to be fixed, thanks a lot.

However, i noticed another 2:

1) Replays can be opened directly after installing without setting the path (i guess since the xml is present). But if you do the following, it will result in an exception: https://image.ibb.co/fwdtQ0/ex1.png
- Have freshly installed program (the above version you linked)
- Open 1 of the attached replays
- Set war3x path to 1.26a warcraft
- Open another attached replay

Or maybe something is wrong with explicitely my copy of the game

2) In some (maybe all) of 6.88x3 replays there are a bunch of empty lines in "show actions" window" showing up, even if no actions were selected. Clicking on either of them will display another exception: https://image.ibb.co/caZiQ0/ex2.png

For 1, I havn't looked in the corresponding code since ten years, so it's possible there are side effects linked to storm.dll loading. I'd suggest to save the config after saving the paths, close and load the application again.

For 2, are such replays reported as 'anomaly' in the game text box?

Yes, it says:

This replay contains an anomaly:
2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11

for all i checked. It also seems to be the case for 6.88w9.4 replays

the bug should be fixed, the images should also load now.
