I was wondering whether it was just my setup or something in the application but my menu background images always come out like poorly-compressed JPGs. I've turned the menu video bitrate up to 8000 in the "core" settings and set the number of frames to 25 but it doesn't seem to make any noticeable difference - The background image always contains lots of fairly big "squares" which can be clearly seen, especially on the computer monitor.
I'm sure this never used to be an issue on my old version of DVD-Styler (I think I was using version 1.6). Is there any way I can increase the image quality at all?
Many thanks all.
Here's a link to a screenshot - This was generated with the menu bitrate set to 8000 and also to 25 frames. The application is absolutely superb otherwise.
Many thanks again.
Apologies for the 3 messages in a row - Perhaps I should have got my facts together before sending the first one. Anyhow…
Here is the original image but I suspect it's some strange artifact in the conversion to a "video". If anyone has any ideas thought then that'd be excellent.
