#1 A few usability comments

After testing playing around with the dvdplugin, it seems
to have great potential!

1) One of the things I'd like to see is ("autoplay"), i.e.
the movie starts when a dvd is inserted. Don't know how
vdr could handle that. (... yes, I have kids.. :-) )

2) while we talk about that, eject/retract from the remote
control...

3) more important: Possibility to "continue" viewing from
where you left off. This would probably mean keeping a
db about dvds seen...

4) option to jump straight to the movie, bypassing ads
and menus. Setting audio & subtitles according to
preferences. These should be conditionals like
- swe audio available --> swe audio, no subtitles, else
- fin audio available, prefer swe subs, else no subs
- eng audio available, prefer swedish subs, else no subs
In most cases a few scenarios fill all the needs.

5) option menu for subtitle languages like the one for
audio

6) Configuration/learning of the remote keys. There are a
few keys on my remote that vdr does not use (skip
forward/backward), which could be used for
next/previous chapter.

7) The possibility to "rip" a dvd. I'd like to keep the dvds
safe in my bookshelf and let the kids play them from
vdr...
