#16 offline mode

I have a version of dvbsnoop compiled for Mac OS X. I'm hoping it might be possible to update the EyeTV channel lists with data from the satellite stream in a similar fashion to how the awesome autobouquets_e2 plugin works on the dreambox. This plugin grabs the channel information data from the satellite (via dvbsnoop) and formats it into the proper channel order like the official sky STB's. I realise dvbsnoop will probably never be capable of working with the live stream from the EyeTV-SAT devices (that are USB based), but I'm wondering if the dvbsnoop offlline mode would be able to extract the same data from a sample recording?
