Can someone give a sample layout of channel.conf. I've tried using one generated from xawtv that looks like:

[BBC4]
group = BBC
tsid = 16384
pnr = 16832

[BBC3]
group = BBC
tsid = 4107
pnr = 4351

.
.
.

but it's no good.

  You have to install dvb-apps or dvb_utils package from your distro repository and generate your channel.conf with dvbscan according to the documentation of the linux-tv web site http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Scan

  I've got Suse 10.3 and the command for scanning is "scan". dvbsched works now, so I'm going to try the PHP front-end.
