#1 Support for 2.6 -kernels

Seems like pretty dead project. There's obviously no
support for linux 2.6 -kernels since they use udev. At
least the firewire things in /dev seem to be a bit
different from what dvbackup/dvconnect would require.
Seems like this project was the only way to backup
files with dv-cam, so I was pretty disappointed when it
didn't work.. Since 2.6 -kernels have been around for a
while now I think this project would need a little bit
of updating.
