And where most people miss out on Open Source lisences. You really don't have to giva away your "IP" to your competitors. Only a small fraction of the software in the world is shrink wrapped. Most software is build on custom contracts. Where the customer gets the source anyway. And only use it in-house. So, you're not letting your competitors get your application at all.
