Yo again!

If you guys can give me CVS access i can upload the changes right into=20
the tree. i won't have to stomp any autotool files to do it, but i=20
would have to check in 'configure' (which is okay because autotools=20
will just overwrite mine if someone builds with those).

(i used to be on the project but removed myself after a few years of not=20
