okay, okay! I've broken down! I'm gonna do it! I was reading last night in the book "Extreme Programming Explained" and came across this paragraph, which I almost thought that Pete had written: Simplicity is not easy. It is the hardest thing in the world not to look toward the things you'll need to implement tomorrow and next week and next month. But compulsively thinking ahead is listening to the fear of the exponential cost of change curve. Sometimes the coach has to gently remind the team that they are listening to their fears, "Maybe you're so much smarter than I am that you can make all this complicated dynamically balancing tree stuff work. I would naively assume a linear search would work." -- Kent Beck ----- stephan Generic Universal Computer Guy st...@ei... - http://www.einsurance.de Office: +49 (89) 552 92 862 Handy: +49 (179) 211 97 67 "Perhaps, as has often been said, the trouble with people is not so much with their ignorance as it is with their knowing so many things that are not so....." - William A.
