[DM-dev] web site overhaul?

Yesterday I downloaded and installed phpNuke (www.phpnuke.org) on QUB's web 
site, and I was amazed:
a) it took only 10 minutes to set up.
b) with about another hour or so of configuration it was fully ready.

It works right out of the box (provided you have a db server and web server) 
and looks GREAT. It uses mysql for a db, which SF provides for free. It's 
really easy to manage content with it (without editing HTML files!) and to 
write additional PHP modules for it. I've done a number of small modules for 
the QUB site already. It offers user logins, message boards, search engine, 
user polls/surveys, automatically tracks your traffic, the most-used areas of 
your site, etc. For a sample, take a look at http://qub.sourceforge.net (it's 
not complete, but "getting there"). That's exactly the same software as is 
running www.phpnuke.org, except that I run a different theme and have made 
some very small customizations to some of the PHP code.

If you want something like that for the DM site I'll be more than happy 
to set it up and maintain it.
