Auto-repair gives an unfair advantage to the AI currently.
It would be nice to have an option to activate this feature. And a switch (on/off) in-game for it.
If you have any doubts how to solve the interface problem, just put 5 buttons on every building: [R] = Repair building (non-toggle) [C] = Cancel repair ("toggle repair" button can screw you up sometimes!) [A] = Turn on/off Auto repair for current building (toggle)
[O] = Turn ON Auto Repair for All buildings [F] = Turn OFF Auto repair for all buildings
[O] and [F] buttons should be radio buttons that can not be turned on at the same time. They should act as override for auto repair for individual buildings, but at the same time it remembers the state of auto repair for individual buildings.

I'd like it if dune legacy had much more options for configuring a game.
Especially something like this that changes the balance in the game so heavily.

Pressing 'x' will simply attempt to start repairing all structures of player.
There is no toggle - both because lazyness, and game balance. REPAIR ALL THE THINGS is expensive, often its wiser to pick carefully what to repair when the base is swarmed and budget is tight.

I am currently working in Mad Head Games http://www.madheadgames.com so I
am a developer too :)
I would like to know if you need any help or support of any kind. Not that
I have a lot of free time (programmers never have that) :) But I am such a
great fan of Dune 2 that maybe i can sacrifice some time to help.
If nothing else, maybe simple testing and feedback will be of some use for
you?

+1 for this feature request!

I have now shoddily implemented this:

Awesome man! Dune 2 is my favorite game EVAR! :)
