[dumpnet-users] Announcement: Dumpnet 1.0.0 Released

I am very proud to announce the first public release of dumpnet.

Major Features: 
- backup multiple hosts simultaneously 
- create incremental backups using dump 
- create a MySQL database backup using mysqldump 
- a rudimentary IDS based on md5sum 
- extensive logging 
- retrieval of valuable information about the target 
  host (the  server to backup) such as disk usage,
  logged in users, process table, network configuration,
  disk layout and more 
- sending a report after every backup session via email 
- extensive documentation

Requirements:
 Backup host: 
  Any Linux flavor or cygwin 
  (Open)SSH client set up with public key authentication 

 Target host: 
  Any Linux flavor 
  (Open)SSH server set up with public key authentication
