I run a verify pass (restore -C) afterwards as a sanity check. I look at 
that to see if the backup was sane. I expect to see specific miscompares on 
files that I know are "live", like log files and mail spools. I also expect 
to see attribute errors on mount points (because restore can't see the 
directory behind the mount point).
