[Dump-users] /dev directory error messages

Since upgrading to the Fedora 3 Core I've been getting a lot of error 
messages on a restore compare of the following type:

/sbin/restore: unable to stat ./dev/pup: No such file or directory

These have continued with Fedorea Core 4. I'm using dump-0.4b40-2.

I'm simply backing up my entire root partition with a dump statement 
and comparing the backup using restore.

I've not paid any attention to these messages. Is there a way to 
eliminate them?
