[Dump-users] undefined symbol error

I am trying to run dump (0.4b40 (using libext2fs 1.32 of 09-Nov-2002)) =
and am getting the following error:

dump: relocation error: dump: undefined symbol: ext2fs_read_inode_full

Here's where references to libext2fs are and both /usr/lib and /lib are =
on my LD_LIBRARY_PATH

locate libext2fs
/usr/share/info/libext2fs.info.gz
/usr/lib/libext2fs.a
/usr/lib/libext2fs.so
/lib/libext2fs.so.2.4
/lib/libext2fs.so.2

What am I doing wrong?
