Also, when you consider the physical durability of tape vs disk it
makes it very difficult to make a compelling argument for the use of
tape.  Disk can withstand higher temperatures and greater
accelerations for starters.

I use SATA in a USB2 case connected to a Linksys NSLU2 unit.
